G’day from Queensland. I hope you’re jandals are comfortable and your chilly bin is full.
How are things progressing with that lovely rifle?
Kia Ora , the esky is full
I dont know if you heard of the big floods in the top of the south island in NZ ?
Goodness knows you guys have had bad ones yoyrcseleves.
We are unable to get home since august .
Roads gone .slipped on & off .
We are all digging out but the ole weather & only last week an earthquake is slowing down things.
So unfortunately I'm isolated on the other side from the Hawkins gibbs & everyone & everything.
Can get in by boat on waitata bay & climbing up & down to Pukatea.
Done that a few times.
I am looking forward to getting a more regular life soon that's for sure.
Before all this happened, I was actually concentrating on 100 yards.& with another rifle.
But a couple of times in a month when I have the time it's nice to bring Bertha out & hit a manhole cover 1000 meters away.
It may be some time before I really get to fine turning the accuracy from that.
Got a lot of mahi ( work) to do out home.
Thanks for your message.
I remember well the floods your way & indeed in the southern USA right now.
Best wishes & kind thoughts to everyone here & elsewhere dealing with such weather.
Kia kaha( stay strong) ma te wa( have a great day)
Kind regards ( Nga Mihi)
Chris
