The Portland Sportsman's Warehouse, formerly Wholesale Sports, formerly Sportsman's Warehouse, has CCI 10's and 11's out on the shelf.

Just got back from our new Cabelas store. Lots of #10 Remys but very few boxes of balls. The BP section was just so-so. a couple of pistols and couldn't find the long guns. I was able to buy 3 boxes of modern ammo. 2 100 brick .22 and 1 of .45 colt. They had a limit of 1 100 round brick per person. The triple 7 was 29 bucks a can. Nothing to be impressed about.

The Bass Pro across town from me, either has morons managing the shop, or the Corporate Office is deliberately keeping them in the dark.

I read of folks around the country buying Black Powder at their local Bass Pro, but MY guys profess complete ignorance & claim they have no way to order real BP - there's no legal restrictions in AZ, so that's not the excuse. They occasionally have a couple of token cans of Pyrodex, & maybe some boxes of that pellet stuff.

As for caps, the Duuh Factor also reigns supreme @ my local store. The counter guy claimed that the warehouse had caps showing as Zero Inventory, but were unable to order any. I had them send some excess inventory of #10's over from another store, but it was a Keystone Cops exercise & I was lucky to get several tins a month later & after several requests for follow-up.

Their only saving grace on my last visit there was the Bacon Jerky was sale priced.

Beyond that, they don't impress me a bit.

You may be safe in England but the way our government has been operating lately it would be foolish for anyone to brag about having a lot of anything. The drones are waiting........ :idunno:

Nuthin' a fowler or coach gun can't handle

Oddly enough there's plenty of everything here in CA, at least where I live.

Two tradeers had caps at our local rendezvous over Memorial Weekend. The "cheap" ones were $6.50/100. The other guy had them for $8.50/100. Glad I shoot mostly flintlock.
