Of all the years to not get a buck tag

Man, wish I had a buck tag this year. Last year I couldnt hardly buy a buck (let alone a decent one), this year, with only a day and a halfs hunting down, have already passed on 17 bucks. Had a 130 class buck bed down fifteen yards away yesterday morning. Had to remove the old boots to sneak out. Had a 120 class buck walk by less than 7 yards away, TWICE!!!
Had two other 120-130 classers within 50 yards.
Could I get a shot at a doe, .....nope.

A couple of weeks ago I had a nice eight pointer walk out 70 yards from me just standing there broadside daring me to do something about it. There was me with a doe tag in my pocket.

Know how you feel in a way. In Ohio your allowed
1 buck and then with proper permits you can get
your does. On at least two occasions it would be
down to the last day or two I would go ahead and
harvest a spike or 4 pt buck. Go out the next day
for my doe and along comes Mr big a.. 8 point :cursing:

back in 2004 the one week we have in oct fer muzzle loading fer doe only i saw nuttin but buck....then the last week of archery i got a nice 8 point and used my one buck only tag fer the year in PA....all through deer season fer buck and doe i saw nuttin but buck the whole two weeks of the season....then went up to gobblerknob's place fer late season flintlock hunt and guess what....i saw nuttin but buck again and no doe to fill my tag fer three days :shake: ....N.C. down by roundball sounds like a pretty tempting move :rotf: ....roundball ya need a new neighbor :hmm: :v .........bob
