I did not catch the ODNR press release until now, some significant changes as the seasons are tweaked again:
- The early October muzzleloading season is "suspended", this two day season, was introduced in 2013 (as I recall), shame as I was just getting used to warm weather hunting.
- Two days of gun hunting added on December 28 & 29, a Monday and Tuesday if I am reading this right. Regular gun season stay the same opening the Monday after Thanksgiving.
- Muzzleloading season January 9 - 12, 2016, reverting back to a Saturday thru Tuesday season shifting from the Friday thru Monday season used this year.
- Statewide bag limit reduced to 6 from 9, and many counties, including mine, reduced from a 4 deer limit to 2.
