Ok I give up need help on AMS meaning

Looking at going to a shoot next weekend. The cross stick match says. AMS. I dunno what that means.
Help would be appreciated.

Any Metallic Sight. In other words you can pretty much use any sight EXCEPT FOR SCOPES. Adjustable and peep sights would be legal.

Obviously , an AMS shooting match would be for me in my condition. Wonder if the match is AMT. All Metal Target , or P. Paper. Acronyms are soooo special , just not for us mentally challenged old farts.

considering the number of years I shot cross sticks that could apply. Got to be something wrong when you enjoy shooting a 50 & 5X's and all you get is a good smoke award. I really miss that I can't compete anymore.

If your mental status is altered, I don't want you shootin on the same range as me I really think it does apply!!!

I'm glad to hear of a match that allows a rear peep sight. When I moved to eastern Oregon many shooters used them and encouraged me to do so. Therefore, when I built my underhammer I installed a Lyman adjustable peep. When I moved to western Oregon I could find only one club that wasn't hard core on "fixed open iron sights only". Since that type of sight is just a blur to me, it really limits where I can shoot in competition. I'm toying with getting a trade gun since they don't have a rear sight at all. Then I'd be at an equal disadvantage with other shooters.
