Got up this morning and decided I hadn't hunted with my muzzleloaders for a while, so I loaded up Bacon and took off to the woods again. Took this gal with a PRB backed up by 70 gr. of 3f.

I am making sausage as we speak, Unlike you I used a modern rifle so can't post here :(
I killed a sow and a larger Boar. I have to say I find they are both fantastic eating (I was really worried about that big stinky Boar) I had intended to Sausage the entire boar, but after some sample fry ups I kept lots of steaks and a few roasts.

I wouldn't doubt you guys up in the northern areas will have feral hogs to hunt some day. While they do a lot of damage to the environment, they are a lot of fun to hunt and good eating. Here in the south there is really no way to eliminate them from the wilds, so some of us guys just enjoy them. We have some pretty thick woods in this area and I am out in them almost daily just to keep my old butt up and out of the recliner. I'll be 75 pretty soon and need to stay as active as I'm able to...and sometimes Ol' Bacon just helps me along.

Stoney,

I really don’t even attempt to hunt deer anymore. Hogs are just too much fun.
