Ol' Joe made meat

Some of you know that I finished my GPR kit this summer, and named it after my Grandfather. Well, Ol' Joe got a small doe on the opening day of ML season here in VA.
She loitered around my stand for about 40 minutes while I waited for a buck to come out. Well, nothing else showed up. In the meantime, this doe got closer and closer, then stood broadside and put her head behind a bush. I CAN take a hint... The ball broke her front left shoulder and exited in the brisket. I used 95 gr of Goex 2F behind a .490 ball and ticking. Good 'ol Crisco for a lube, but now I've got some fat to render as some of you have suggested. I can't wait to try it.

Cant wait for my turn. My son got one last weekend with 490 ball and goex3fg. It was his very first, and with a prb. Those roundballs score again :hatsoff:
