I appreciate the greetings from everyone! Hope you are all Ok and enjoying the Holiday Season!

Welcome back. One thing that I found is that I don't like to clean my guns after I get home after a shoot. I'm tired and it's just a hassle. I clean them at the range right there at the loading table. I get it done faster, and I actually enjoy it. When I get home I just put everything away and I'm done!

Fired about 30 shots from a flintlock yesterday. All alone at the farm just enjoying the smoke. Wipe the bore with a couple of wet patches, clean the outside of the lock, run a greased patch down the bore and go home for a coffee.

It gets fully cleaned in the gunroom afterwards. It can even wait a day or so if need be.

Welcome from Maine. I use spit for lube and clean with glass cleaner, not time consuming for me.
