I know that this subject has already been a topic of this thread and started by Brett Jr.

But I would like to see a photo or two of the priming flask, that are being made out of old kitchen knives. Can someone post one and tell us all, who know nothing about them, the history of the thing?

Thanks, Rick

I dont know who or when the the concept came to be. they just look, shall I say...Cute!

I will try to find a pic of one.
Iam waiting for my xmas pkg from the wife, it has some priming valves in it!

vision if you will, a sterling table knife sans the blade, with a priming valve in place where the blade used to be!
good enough mental photo?

Inquiring minds want to see.... I got a knife and a fork with sterling handles that might look real good. It is a carving set I bought at a yard sale...cheap.

Okay...so envision a primingvalve in the end of these. these are pretty basic, but I have seen some real old kives with real fancy handles!

Thanks for the photo!...I kind of thought that's what you meant, but sometimes it takes a visul for things to connect in my thick skull!
