I ran into this a month or so ago and picked it up. I ordered some parts from Track to get it functioning and then refinished the grip and browned the barrel, trigger and hammer. The trigger guard/spring was black so I left it alone. It came with a full can of caps which turned out to be #12’s. They fit the nipple perfectly, #11s don’t so I’m going to order a proper nipple from Track. The last thing I was looking for was a .433 mold, as luck would have it one popped up for sale here and was able to get it. Thanks to Dusty_Traveler getting me the mold I’m ready to see how it shoots!

It looks a lot like a H&A Hopkins & Allen under hammer to me. You will fall in love with it. For some reason they seem to be more accurate than a side lock. At least my Bondini and my wife's Charles Caywood are and the H&A I used to have was.
Good job restoring it.:thumb:

It is an H&A

Suggest ordering a spare nipple. Found out the hard way my first H&A rifle required a special nipple. The one I tried felt solid, cranked up to where it felt tight, but didn't hold. Still shooting one of these 60 years later (rifles). Have fun. They really shoot great.
