Hey Guys... and Gals,
Do we need to make our own show? How 'bout "Building a Flinter" with BP Newbie. Yes, folks, you too can learn how to blow yourself up by building a black powder shotgun without any help from anyone else.
Seriously, I think it would be really cool to do a show on builing a muzzleloader. You could just about make a series out of it with the wide variety of smokeful guns out there. I would not be surprised if you couldn't get it on DIY. I think it would be fun to get on OLN with a traditional muzzleloading show. I'd do it in a heartbeat. They ought to do in a state that doesn't have rifle season, like Illinois. You either have to hunt with a muzzleloader or a shotgun with a rifled slug. There are some darn big deer up there! The biggest one I ever shot was an 8 pointer that scored about 140 B&C and was only 3 1/2 years old. I have seen some that made him look like Bambi. Bagging one that big or bigger would make quite a show! There's some great genes in them thar' hills!
How 'bout it guys? Anybody up for a traditional BP show?
