I would consider buying this if the nipple is removable and if you test fire it to be sure it is actually safe to shoot.I have not removed the nipple or ever shot it. The channel is clear as air flows through it

I don't need a wall hanger and although this is a beautiful historical musket, I don't run a museum. I would buy it for the fun of actually shooting an original musket. I don't want to have it blow up in my face though. If the nipple is frozen in place, I would never be able to properly clean it.
