Condolences on the loss of your father. It really hurts to lose a loved one. May his soul rest in peace with those who have gone before him.

I really admire people that can start with a block of wood, a lock, a barrel, and fittings and build it to a finished firearm. That takes skill and perseverance. Best I could do was a kit with a shaped stock, already inletted for the barrel, lock, and fittings. Just finish the stock, brown or blue the barrel and fittings. You are actually creating a work of art. Kudos.
