Actually there was so much fraud in the last election, why even call them free elections. You have no clue what happens behind the closed walls. No one even trusts election personal anymore....with good reason. We have seen how elections in Nazi Germany, Stalin's Russia, Mao's China, Castro's, Cuba, Papa Doc's, Haiti all went. Exactly the way the dictatorial leader wanted it to go. So free elections, free economy, free speech, free-dom.....say goodbye to it all. Don't think it can happen

So much for the red wave. We need a National ID card and a write in ballot. I have a hard time believing with the state of the economy (inflation/gas prices) that people still vote for the same thing and expect a different outcome. We've reached full blown insanity as a nation. Very sad. America as we once knew it is gone!

yes, I saw that, but unfortunately people often go for the "broken wing" syndrome, he got votes on sympathy alone. Oz, pls, you actually thought he was a good choice? Had the Dem not had the stroke, he would of beat OZ by even more. I am also not sure why OZ conceded when all the votes were not in? IMHO.

yes, the past is gone. What everyone keeps ignoring is the younger vote from 20 -40. They are leaning liberal like it or not,they outnumber the "old" folks, and they do not like what the old folks stand for, and it will only get worse. In addition, women outnumber men, and the right has not given them what they wanted. SO, guess what, voting liberal! IMHO

Nothing we will have to worry about. Its a long time coming before anything remotely resembling that ever happens. We have very well established and strong institutions of government and push come to shove, when it matters, most people support them. IMHO

Meanwhile back at the gun show, if it is overpriced I don’t buy it. People go to carnivals and movies to be entertained. I go to gun shows for the same reason and occasionally find a bargain or an obscure item I have been looking for. Let me tell you about the great Pakistani knife I bought and fake fur.

When I came home from the Army in '69 I lost complete faith in my generation!

I used to like to stop at roadside flea markets and I could usually find some good deals because these folks were usually wanting to make some quick cash. But not always.

I stopped at one where a guy had some old tools and old hatchet. The price tag on the hatchet read $10.50. I looked in my wallet and had a ten and a five. Checked my front pants pockets, but no change.

So I asked the guy if he would take ten dollars for it. He said very bluntly, “nope, $10.50”.

I told him I had a ten dollar bill but no change. He said “nope, $10.50”.

So I says “ okay, I have a ten and a five, do you have change?”.

He replies again “ nope, $10.50”. I turned and walked away. I didn’t get the hatchet and I don’t know if he ever got his fifty cents.

Well, I left the Marines in 73, for DOD. I guess I didn't lose my faith in my govt, but as far as others go, I never did put much trust in what anyone else told me, I learned that in the Marines. I only trusted those I worked with after they had shown me they were worthy of it.
