I purchased some .543 round balls from TOW; just what I needed for my .54 Plains Rifle, which has an oversized bore. Since I cast 99% of my bullets, I would like to find a .540-.545 round ball mold.

I know I can order one from Tanner; I know that Moose Molds can make me a .545. I know I can use thicker patches with standard .535 round balls.

Does anyone have an older Ideal or Lyman mold in .542, .543, .544, or .545?

Thanks in advance,

ADK Bigfoot

I’m looking to trade one for a.530 or.535 it throws a about a 542-.544 ball it’s older and not marked,if you still want. It’s one piece, you are on TMA too?
