PA changes regs to permit Nitrofire in future

As usual for the PA GAme commission, the terms used are not the model of clarity. and in a somewhat obtuse way. The definition includes as muzzleloaders those breechloaders loaded with "loose ammunition components (propellant and charge) comparable to a muzzle loader" This language supposedly permits the nitrofire. There is nothing loose about the powder and muzzle loaders do not load the primers attached to the powder. I certainly wish they would seek assistance on wording from some body that knows about firearms.

They have taken bribes from the companies making them so called dinners and weekends to experience them and most likely large campaign donations.

Nothing about that system is related to muzzleloading firearms, might as well hunt with a single shot 450 bushmaster rifle. or a 45-70 single shot. Total self contained cartridge loading from the breech utilizing a 209 shot shell primer, Cant wait on shockeys so called muzzle loader shows high lighting this piece of crap.

It's the gamers again, always trying to find a way around the original intent of primitive hunting seasons so that they can go out and slam a deer from 500 yards with their....... aw hell, don't get me going on another rant about it!

All about the revenue. Fewer hunters mean the need for more ways to sell permits and licenses. It’s very frustrating. I hunted nearly every day of the Virginia Muzzleloader season that ended today.

All other hunters that I saw had climber tree stands on their backs and modern unmentionables that claim to be muzzleloaders. It has become nothing more than a head-start on the regular firearms season.

Because all the younger Hunting Bros who don't care about a challenge, or s sporting hunting experience want to extend their season with something that's pretty much a breech loading rifle, and the State wants to sell more permits to these Hunting Bros

PA DNR announcement, November 4, 2053..
The PA DNR has passed a bill allowing sportsmen to use Robohunters for muzzleloading season. Robohunters must be capable of wireless control and stand down functionality. Robohunters may be armed with any weapon legal for muzzleloading season.
DNR rep Marty McSquawkins- "we see this as a great way to generate a lot more revenue and get more folks into the field, even if virtually".

We had a muzzleloader season but now we have firearm alternative methods (be watchful for that term) muzzleloader, air powered gun and center fired handguns. Me just use smoke pole in all three firearm seasons we have.

Lewis and Clark used an air rifle, to great effect. Centerfire revolvers and single shots have always been legal. Special Regulation Areas ( eg Allegheny County) have always had their own regs. ( Now, concurrent flintlock, shotgun and straight walled cartridges).
As long as PA doesn't infringe on the flintlock season, I'm happy. I use my modern stuff in the regular seasons. I like to use all my guns.

As I do not agree with the so called new muzzle loader, Hunt with what you like, for me it is a flintlock and some times a percussion. I also hunt with centerfire it all depends on the season. As Grumpa said if it goes bang I hunt with it. Enjoy what you have as the day is coming when it will be tightly regulated as to any type of weapon, Look to Canada and the socialist TRUDOE for a primer on what can happen.
