I just updated my Paper Cartridge Page, Daryl Sapergia gives a very good explanation on how to make them and some interesting facts.

Daryl is the one that got me started into them, maybe his wisdom can help you also.

I just glues up some with 2 wraps for my .73 cal rifle. I glued the beginning of the second wrap and the end. I want to see if the inner is spinning or sliding from the outer. This may be causing some fliers. Maybe not.

Most important part, is the fit........it must be snug.....hard thumb pressure to start.

No short started needed, just tear, insert and thumb start, then ram home. The powder will drain al you load.
