No, they are the RAW brand cigarette rolling papers. Same ones that come with the Guns of The West cartridge kit. I got them at a smoke shop here in town. What kind of paper is that? Looks like coffee filter paper?

Use BP! The subs are hard to ignite, period....No, am using Pyro P. Going to try a couple different things. I have some BP so will try that also.
The first thing you need to try is real black powder and everything else will probably fall right in line for you.I made some a couple of different ways, twisting on the bottom as well as fold over method. Gonna keep trying to see what I can find out.
I've heard it doesn't work so well in paper cartridges. No personal experience with it though. Hope you heal up soon and get back to itAnybody have experience with Hodgdon Triple Seven in their paper cartridges? I have a whole slew of them I loaded but haven't been able to try them out since I'm recovering from back surgery (the curse of geezerhood).
I use black powder and I nitrite coffee filters with spectracide stump remover. Mix it with water and soak the filters. Hang them out to dry in the sun and start rolling.
I did the same Guns of the West kit. Bought the same RAW papers at the local store for $2 a pack.
I use 777 powder, its the most bang for the buck. The glue comes from Amazon for $4.
The one thing folks should know is that the time it takes to hand load at the range, is a fraction of the time making the cartridges.
I made 100 and have had them sitting under my desk. I take 10 out every few months to see how they work with age.
I have 25 left. (some fell a part).
I also do them this way, it seems to be easier than straight rolling
4F in a revolver? You're lucky you weren't kilt, or worse! It works very well, have also used T7 with good results. If you really want to wake up your pistol try 4f in paper cartridges or by itself. Works great in .36 and .44 belt pistols. I did run 4f in a ROA and the recoil was pretty sharp.
