This rifle has the look of a reenactor weapon that was toted around, but fired very little, if at all. It is one of the "transitional " Parker Hale rifles. By that, I mean it has a Birmingham proofed barrel fitted into a stock in Italy. The stock shows scattered minor scratches and dings, but no serious marring. The barrel retains over 98% blue with some minor scratches and wear from mounting bayonet. The bore is bright and shiny. Only grease came out on patches. No residual powder fouling in breech. Should be a good shooter with that Birmingham barrel. $850 + Shipping.
