Patch - muzzleloadingforum.com

Since "The Muzzleloading Forum" is out with bumper stickers, I'd like to suggest the idea that patches also be created...one for Flintlock, one for Percussion, etc.

Not a patch all cluttered up with everything but the kitchen sink trying to be one patch to represent all the muzzleloaders in the world.

Just a simple, but high quality rectangular patch that could be sewn across the front of a cap...containing a horizontal classic representation of a Flintlock, horn & bag, etc...another with a Percussion, horn & bag, etc.

Thoughts??

I happen to think the kitchen sink would look great on a patch! ::

 

I am not too big on bumper stickers and a patch would require a jacket that you would want to sew it on to, but a baseball cap with a patch is a great idea and could be worn with anything.

They could be made available in a summer mesh style, a corduroy style for cooler weather and even an insulated version too. Or just the patch could be sold and sewn on to your favorite cap.

What a good way to promote the forum and meet others interested in the hobby.

Add a couple of bucks to the price to help defray the cost of the forum too.

yes, and if i can get another set of parachute wings i can put the flintlock patch just beneath them.... ::

that would make an interesting cap..

i would suspect that claude would need an awful lot of positive feedback to make this happen. i know i would. :hmm:

ooooo...coffee cups.....my favorite. Patches are cool too, and what about window stickers. Not just bumper stickers, but those cool little sheild types with whatever emblem that you decide on.

Hats are always a good idea, and not horrendously expensive.
