Ok I don't mean to be a hog but friends need meat and I have the time and there are LOTS of deer around here! One good thing about surburban sprawl, it sure does concentrate the deer and I've been doing a lot of concentrating on them.

Tomorrow is the last day and I am looking forward to a nice day up in a tree. Today I still hunted and walked up on a button buck, thought it was a doe. It had me busted with the crusty ice but it lost the staring contest. Dragged it out, hung it up, cut out the tenderloins and fried em up for supper and washed it all down with a cold beer. Life is good, gonna go make some precharge loads for my neighbors CVA Mountain rifle that I gave him, I think he's gonna be sick tomorrow and not able to go to work. Then I have to clean the old Hawken. Man are we getting a work out this year. It may seem like I'm being a hog but all the meat is going to those that really want it and some who really need it. The other thing is they are going to be building over 60 houses where I am hunting so the way I look at it I'm doing a good thing all the way around. It's taking its toll on me though, man am I sore! I can take this kinda sore anytime! One more day left!! :v

I don't think you should apologize about having a good season...play the cards that you're dealt...because there will be seasons when every hunting trip will be like busting at blackjack...
:hatsoff:

Thanks and yeah I know I hunted almost every day last year from sunrise to sunset and only got a shot at one deer. Having a real good one just feel kinda guilty with all this good luck.

Thanks!
