You tkink they use that table to play " TEXAS HOLDEM " in between shots. :rotf: :rotf:

That's what we let the city slickers and those from the "lesser" states use to hunt out of. :rotf:

Take care,

ThomasR.

When a guy pays several grand for a chance to shoot a trophy buck, I guess this is what he expects to hunt from. A cheap porta potty type deer blind just won't do! :shocked2:

I have a caption for the bottom pic if I may...

Kirrmeister and Undertaker our guests from Germany are sitting at the far left. Roy reminds them of where their shooting lanes start and stop, also not to get to shook up when they do see a whitetail because they are just slightly larger than their roe deer.

Roy asks if RC is all set whos sitting just to right of our german friends and RC says "I (bleepin) hope so! Where the (bleep) is my shooting lane again?" Roy sighs and points out to yellow ribbons, "just stay inside those two yellow ribbons, see the green ribbon next to the yellow on the right? From that point to the right is Swampy's zone" Swampy says where? I can't see that far....Roy just shakes his head and says "This gonna be a long day!"

Lock and load boys!:rotf:

""Swampy's zone""" :hmm: wouldn't ya all like to visit there????? :shocked2: he's in a zone alright... :shocked2: twilight?????/

I'm from Texas, and that kind of makes me mad. Kind of makes every one think thats the way we do it in TX. I think this is a setup for a deer "killer", not a deer hunter. They seemto be concerned with what everyone else thinks about them, instead of hunting for the enjoyment of being out there and the experience. I used to work with some guys with that mentality. Makes you kind of sick at your stomach.

Well I know better than that :v
Its a shame though I 'm afraid its becoming the new face of hunting... Can't really say it was or is a hunt.

Oh, don't worry. Most of us realize there are sportsmen vs. game shooters in all of the states, not just Texas. Just as there are New Yorkers who can make good chili and salsa.

mrfishnhunt sayed "and that kind of makes me mad. Kind of makes every one think thats the way we do it in TX.""" i can understand that, but like stumpkiller says we know sportsman and game killers.. i feel bad for people like that..they just don't get "it" :shake: salsa? from n.y.?????

Tough feller's them Texicans. Is that what they mean by the phrase, "he's shore got the bark on" ?

From what I could find out about this thing, a rancher built it for his own families use.

Wanted something the grand babies and the women folk could feel safe in and keep from getting bored.

I guess if you have the money and the land, it is not such a bad thing.

This is just like my blind, except that mine does not have an air conditioner, nor a card table, nor stairs, nor carpet on the floor, nor glass in the windows, nor room for a ceiling fan. And mine is just a bit smaller, 4x4x6. Otherwise they are exactly alike and just what most every Texan hunts from. :rotf:
