Strider, Woodsman 1757: Ask and ye shall recieve:
This picture shows the guns in the same relative position, but with the locks up:
These are, from left to right, Boys Squirrel Rifle (.36 cal), Transitional Kentucky (.54 cal), "A Southern?" (.50 cal), Reading Co. (.45 cal), Early Lancaster (.50 cal), Late Lancaster (.50 cal), Bedford Co (.45 cal), Franklin Co (.50 cal).
riverrat 43, the second one from the bottom (second from the left in this view) is a Pecatonica River Transitional Kentucky with a Davis Jaeger lock and a Getz Swamped .54 cal barrel.
The one with the checkered wrist is a Late Lancaster inspired by Fordney. He had a thing for skip checkering. He also liked to have an area of exposed wood between his patchbox and the side moldings.
There are old posts in the Photo section showing each one of these, and giving a description of the gun and of my thoughts when I built them. Set the little search box at the bottom of the Photo Post listing window to search back for 1 year and you will find them.
As I mentioned, all but two of these are built with stocks from Pecatonica River. Some of the stocks were modified a bit to make the gun more like the one that inspired it.
The two who are not from Pecatonica are the third from the left (Vernon C. Davis & Co) and the Fordney (TVM).
I usually don't buy the "Kit" because I want to pick out the exact trigger guard, butt plate, lock, barrel, etc but **** Greensides is most obliging with sending my exactly what I want, if he has it. If he doesn't have it, I order from TOTW, TVM, or Susie at Muzzleloaders Builders Supply.
Your looking at about 8 years of my hobbys output in this picture. (I'm SLooooooooooW).
