It's just a Renegade with an improved stock with about an 1-1/2" additional drop and 3/4" longer. The Permalyn finish is way more shiny than I wanted but it's sealed well and durable. It fits me much better now. The Pecatonica stock requires some opening up in the barrel channel and in the lock area for the L&R lock. The original lock fit very well. Other than that, it was nearly drop-in fit after cutting to length, drilling holes and cutting the tenon hole and sanding the rough areas.

More than one Pecatonica replacement TC stocks have passed through my hands. Thinking of doing one more in a better grade maple full stock. More TCs around here than chairs or windows. So would a gun with a TC barrel and tang, with everything else from a different supplier, will it still be a TC?
Of course...

I purchased an original TC Renegade barrel from thompson50 recently to shoot PRB and it's a tack driver with 70gr of 3f T7 powder. I'm back to where it all started for my BP adventure, even being a kit barrel, as this rifle started life as a kit in 1982. I had sold the original barrel not knowing any better.
