Anyone ever build one of their kits? I am looking at a Leman half stock.

I have built about 15 of their kits. I have nothing but praise for their products and customer service. I hold them in high regard.

I just ordered a full stock Hawken kit from them, I hope to receive it in the next couple weeks. Will post pics when it comes in, but I can tell you they seem like a great bunch and customer service has been top notch so far.

Many years ago built a half stock Hawken from them and upon inspecting the precarve noticed that the lock inlet was mislocated. Drove to their shop and they agreed that the inlet location was wrong. Showed me an in stock precarve which had too short of a LOP but started cutting a precarve while I waited...... the wood was a Grade #5 and my rejected precaerve was a #4.....walked out feeling very happy and had no further problems w/ the kit.....Fred

I built two kits from them. Like others said, kits were good in my opinion and they are great to work with.

I used one of their stocks on my .32 caliber build. Beautiful piece of maple but they screwed up the ramrod channel as it wandered into where I inletted the lock mortice.

I suggest this to anyone getting a precarve; don't let them do the lock inlet, do it yourself so it will be in the right place.

Built a number of them for myself. Wood is always top of the line for figure.
I still have a SMR stock from them last year in dry dock on my bench if I ever find the time.

I got my kit over the weekend. The wood is better than I expected, which seems to be the norm, the parts look great. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. You might check out torpedo's rifle below.
