I got it today! Still don’t have my supplies though. Ordered everything the day I bought my gun. So far only got the cleaning stuff. This thing is so sweet I’m going to get cavities hunting with it.

My pop told me his civil war reenactment buddies will “defarb” their period weapons. Well I’m hunting with this thing, but every scratch that goes on it will be legit and not intentional.

Unfortunately, the wood finish was damaged on mine my first year hunting with it due to a heavy rain. The finish literally peeled and flaked off in pieces. I got it refinished and hunted about twelve trips with it this year; it has some “character” now from South Georgia thickets. Mine is going squirrel hunting Monday, I hope!

Hopefully here in AZ I won’t see as much moisture as you in Georgia, but maybe if it might rain, I’ll take out my Benelli instead of the Pedersoli. Thanks for the heads up.
