Pedersoli 1859 Sharps rifle bullet

I wasn't thinking of using the #11's on the Sharps. The CCI's I have a 4 wing so I'm guessing no good?-- that sux!!

I haven't had very good luck with the CCI four wing caps in my Springfield 1861 and that has a much simpler flash channel than a Sharps. Graf's and sons has Schuetzen caps available right now and they're doing free shipping with no hazmat fee. I've heard Schuetzen caps are better so I'd recommend taking advantage of that deal while you can.

I just placed an order from them earlier today. The discount only shows up during checkout for me so it might be worth checking again.

My 1859 likes Christmas tree bullets, 60gr of Goex 3F and some corn meal filler.
I make paper cartridges. I don't recall the diameter.
Some with a tail, most without.

Is that the Berdan model? I think that's what it's called. I noticed the set trigger.

Mine shoots well without the set trigger, but it would be nice to have the option.
