I can't tell if the one on top is a real picture or if it's CAD/digital rendition.
What do we see?
and if it is real, that stock needs to be put on a diet compared to the pic under it!To me it looks digital/computer generated. It just looks off.
I'll buy one if they become available. I've always wondered why they did not do one. With all the interest in Sharpe's rifles and the Peninsula war in the 80's/90's, seems like a no brainer.

On mine the barrels walls were thick enough, and the barrel straight enough, that he could rifle it from the smoothbore barrel. Sometimes he may need to use a liner to accomplish what the Cusrtomer wants. Liners add purchase expense of the liner and labor. He rifled the barrel or did an insert?

Never the less an Indian smooth bore initially posing as a "Rifle"?
The Indian copies are barely a firearm!!!!!!!! the locks and triggers are atrocious! No, they are quite clear that the piece is smooth bore. There is a huge market in Europe, and many of the European states have very different laws when the piece is a "shotgun" rather than a rifled piece.

Not quite ... as that blanket statement surely doesn't apply to all. Indeed YES from most Sellers, but NOT from all of them. The Indian copies are barely a firearm!!!!!!!! the locks and triggers are atrocious!
I stand corrected, it's still not a quality lock, and how is that trigger geometry? Not quite ... as that blanket statement surely doesn't apply to all. Indeed YES from most Sellers, but NOT from all of them.
On that flintlock Hand Mortar I have from Veteran Arms, the springs are not over-powered, even the frizzen spring tension is better than NIB locks from L&R, plus the lock action is positive, crisp and light.
Now yes I did super tune it - as I work on EVERY lock I personally own - and have both the means and capability, but it was perfectly suitable 'as is' right out of the box. And that is due to the Owner of VA who checks and/or tunes each lock/arm before he ships it out.

ok if we will assume that price of Pedersoli will be $2k how this will compare to Rifle Shoppe kit assembled and ready to be used, what's the price?Hi,
I suspect the price will be considerably more than $2000. The Baker is a complicated build, much more so than a Brown Bess. I cannot fathom why they would put a fake silver antiquing on the lock.

I have wanted one of their Lorenz rifled muskets for years.I bet no body will ever be able to get one just like every other gun they make since COVID.
you need to check for sale section on this forum more frequently. I had seen at least one new well below msrp in the pastI have wanted one of their Lorenz rifled muskets for years.
