Was wondering if anyone has found a substitute for Pedersoli's bayonet? They wnat an awful lot of money for it.

No, according to another thread on the subject. I ordered one from Gedney an hour ago. They said it's a Navy Arms and would fit, about $30 cheaper than Pedersoli. Thanks Reb, for replying.

When I had a Pedersoli Bess, I found a bayonet and scabbard at James Townsend on line. The bayonet is not listed in the catalog, but was listed on line. You did have to specify if it was for a Pedersoli or Mirouku Bess. Even with that information, I still had to spend some time with a drum sander to open up the bayonet socket to make it fit. It was worth the effort. If you do find another maker for bayonets that may fit, be sure to also provide the diameter of your barrel to help in the matching of the socket to your gun.
