Up for sale is a really nice Pedersoli Brown Bess. No bayonet, musket only.

$950 plus ship or would trade for a Pedersoli 1795 musket or Hudson Valley Fowler

Thanks and please email for interest or more pics:

Pedersoli is an Italian maker of high quality reproductions. There is NO PITTING on this musket! I can take and post better pics if needed.

Thanks

That's a normal look for any BP that is finished bright from the factory. They take on a nice patina when they are cared for and this looks well cared for to me. Good looking Bess....wish I had the money.:)

The barrel on my English Sporting Rifle is beginning to look like that. . . and I have worked hard to make that happen. It is almost in lieu of blueing. As the patina forms slowly through time it becomes fixed. When out in any weather my bright barrel has a thin coat of bear fat and elk tallow all over it. . . . it did not get that look from rusting.
