I am looking for a lighter pistol than my Lyman Great Plains .54 for target shooting. Mid 70's arm is just not what it used to be. Has anyone tried the Pedersili Continental Target Muzzleloading Pistol in .45 Caliber Flintlock? Any and all advice or experience appreciated.

Have handled this model at DGW. Good choice for a match target pistol. Similar to my .44 William Moore flint by Pedersoli. If the grip angle and light weight works for you...

I saw where a fellow had his plains pistol barrel machined to a round forward of the nose cap on his to make it lighter. Very cool looking because he blued it to perfection. I'll try to find the post. Working the grip to fit your hand better might help.
