How does your spark? with a black english tom fuller flint mine works every time :)

I just shot it some more the other day... so far, I've put a single flint in the gun, have shot it many times, and it only misfires when it gets dirty enough to clog up. Last sunday morning, that was about 20 shots into it for me with no vent picking, wiping, knapping, etc. So... it seems to be sparking like there's no tomorrow, and it's easy on flints too!

The gun is real accurate too, and ignition time is so stinkin' fast you can hardly tell it's a flintlock. I've been shooting it with .530 round ball with .010 pre-lubed Ox-Yoke patches over 40 grains of FFFg. I tried the .018 T/C pillow ticking patches, but they're just too thick for my bore, I nearly have to hammer them down. I can thumb start it with the .010 patches, and accuracy does not seem to suffer. I sent a few soda cans flying through the air no problem. It's a pretty stout load, but sure seems to shoot well.

sounds like mine, execpt mine is a .50 cal.
I use 3f goex 40 grains with a .490 bal and a .15 patch.I have to swab ever 5 shoots or so. Should run a jag with some fine steel wool down the bore soon.
Other wise it's a nice toy
