Pedersoli front sight removal?

anyone here have personal experience removing a pedersoli musket front sight? Can you confirm they are soldered on or attached by some other method before i go any further im replacing front sight with one by SS Firearms.

Pedersoli shows it to be a single part, and the illustration shows it to be that too. On the muskets that I've worked on, Yes, it's in a very shallow groove, and soldered on. I can't say if yours is soldered, but I think it unlikely that it's staked and soldered.
