The existing ramrod for the .36 cal Frontier seems to be too short even with the loading jag, so I purchased a 5/16" ramrod at the local hardware store (and it isn't hickory by no means) and it is too loose.
Does anyone know what diameter the ramrod is for this production rifle?
Thanks y'all

I have one of those rifles too (actually getting rebored right now due to previous owners carelessness) the ramrod pipes are way too big and I think they are for 3/8 ramrods which obviously won't work in a .36. To get around this I just took a small strip of leather and ran it through the first pipe and tied it off. Wasn't the greatest fix but it was better than constantly having your ramrod falling out.

You can also put a slight bend in the ram rod by suspending a weight to the center of the rod with the ends of the rod up on a few books (4" or so). I believe the ram rods supplied are 9mm. You can get them at TOW.
