Christmas came early for me this year  !
One of my Father's best friends presented me with his 'like new' Pedersoli Kentucky that he said he bought from DGW about 36 years ago. It has the Navy Arms cartouche on the barrel too.

The design/style may not be 100% PC, but it is very trim, in 45cal, handles light in the hand and the wood and metal fit is very good to excellent! Only problem ... she wears a percussion lock :shocked2: ! This has the perc drum mounted centered on the barrel flat 90 degrees to the hammer.

Does anyone know if Pedersoli sells a replacement lock in FLINT for this rifle?

Or, where would I find out? I am at work and my work server blocks all access :nono: to traditional firearms sites, so I can't even send an email to Perdersoli & Company, or reach vendors like Thunder Ridge or Track of the Wolf. All comments appreciated :applause: !

I just checked the Pedersoli homepage and they sells replacement flintlock to your rifle.

They definitely do! Just take off all your percussion bits, and the flintlock bits fit right on without any problem.

I've heard that their locks are not cheap to buy new.It may be possible to find one used on the net if your not in a hurry.

I would go with a L&R replacement lock if avaliable when making the change then you will have a better lock.
