I am relisting this rifle per the request from a gentleman on this site. The rifle has 28 inch barrels and is in outstanding condition. As far as I know, it has never been fired. It has been sitting in my safe for quite sometime. I bought the rifle from an estate sale. I bought the rifle to hunt in Africa with, but have basically given up on that idea. I am a bow hunter (at heart) and will be using my bow when I return to Africa. Beautiful rifle with very nice wood. I have included a photo of the clean bore swab that I ran into each barrel. I have also pushed some pipe cleaners through the nipples, but no sign of black powder residue. I have not ran a bore scope snake into the barrels. I do not know the twist, but assume it is probably 1 in 48 inches. Only issue is a small screw is missing from one of the folding leaf sights and the white paint is not in the upside down isosceles triangle mark (on the folding leaf sight). The other sight is fine.

This is the same rifle you posted a new thread for first on 4/9 with now 21 posts, as well as the additional duplicate ad you posted Sunday then promptly withdrew? So what’s the deal and what’s the price???

Mr. Alaskagriz49:

I would let it go for $975, but need a dinner voucher for red lobster (full buffet meal) to finalize the deal. Since you are in Alaska, forget the Red Lobster meal. I guess I can fly up there and you can take me fly fishing for very large rainbows (need to be over 24 inches, as I have fished in Kamchatka numerous times and in Argentina). I am also game for bow hunting a big grizzly, big moose (over 60"') or fishing out of Glacier Bay or Chenega Bay.

Mr. Alaskagriz49:

I did relist earlier and then withdrew it. The reason I just relisted it was because a gentleman on this site wanted to see pictures of the rifle. If you are interested, lets talk.

Regards,
Mike

Mr. Griz44mag:

Apologies for not responding back to our offer. Have been tied up with work and some other events. $900 is a little low. I do like the drive thru offer at Long Johns. If you are still interested, throw another pitch at me.

Regards,
Mike
