Pedersoli Kodiak Safari Express .72 SxS Double Rifle for sale. I ordered this through IFG (Italian Firearms Group in Texas) directly from Italy in early 2017. These are just short of $1500 new and not the cheap version sold by Cabelas. This rifle is nothing short of both incredible and impressive to say the least, it is truly a beautiful rifle. I have only put 10-12 massive 550 grain .715 balls downrange, having never got around to develop a load to determine regulation. My plan was to use this in a bear bait station here in my home state if Alaska, however my health has dictated otherwise. Thus, I’m forced to make yet another “limited” raid on my gun safe for unplanned medical expenses. My loss is your gain and for $1175 I’ll cover the shipping anywhere in the US legal to do so. I’ll accept a USPS money order and once received, will ship via USPS parcel post insured.

These awesome BIG BORE double rifles are well over $1400 retail anywhere online, I’m really surprised nobody has jumped on this yet. I’ve eaten a big slice of crow pie now, after stating that my above price bump was FINAL...and will take another $25 off! ONLY because I need to raise funds soon...I’ll take $1100 and even pay the darn shipping too! It goes back in the safe, at anything less! Being in Alaska is where I take it in the shorts, as I’ll be lucky to pocket $1025 after paying $60-70 to ship it south on my dime. OK, all the guys sayin “I sure wish I had the money”...blow the cobwebs off yer wallet! Find a better deal anywhere...

Pedersoli lists it on their website as 1 in 75”. I know there is a guy in South Africa that makes an 830 grain conical designed specially for this rifle and they say it shoots them remarkably well. There may be others, as I researched the conical concept when I first bought the rifle in early 2017...but never pursued obtaining any to try. This rifle does come with a virginal Lyman steel single cavity .715 550 grain roundball mould ($80-90 cost) which I neglected to mention.

To all the guys sitting on the fence watching this rifle, this is now well over $400 less than retail (AND includes shipping)...it doesn’t get any better (or cheaper) than this! In researching these rifles quite a bit prior to ordering one, I found there to be quite a following of Europeans and Africans...that take Cape Buffalo, Hippo, Rhino and even Elephant with a hard cast conical launched out of this rifle. Even though the barrels are a slower twist, one gentleman in South Africa makes an 830 grain bullet designed solely for this application...and I hear they shoot quite accurately. I bought this double barreled shoulder cannon for bear baiting here in my home state of Alaska, only my health has thus far prevented me from doing so.

This price is an incredible value (read that as the proverbial “SMOKING DEAL”) on what is truly BIG Black Powder MEDICINE (x2)! This is a drop dead gorgeous double rifle with incredible STOPPING POWER for Dangerous BIG GAME and you’ve got that instantaneous 2nd follow up shot...as that huge charging monster slides to a STOP quite literally “at your feet”! With this rifle and in capable competent hands...it’s “Game Over”! You know you want this rifle and I know there are several guys drooling over this...AND you CAN afford it! Just blow that dust off that wallet...it doesn’t (and won’t) get any better (or cheaper) than this!!

My price as of now, goes back to a price that I'm "comfortable with"...$1100 with me paying shipping! I've sold several black powder guns in the last few months...always having to continually lower my price, to something considerably less than "true fair market value. This price correction will NOT again change...if it sells, wonderful. If not, that's fine too. Thank you for understanding my return to "common sense" pricing.

To the many supporters and good people on this forum, thank you so much for your messages and posts of support...Thank You! It’s just too bad that there always has to be at least one not so rare exception...sometimes indeed many! Miserable unhappy tightwad old farts that would just not be happy with even getting something for FREE, or that would still grumble and complain at even “being hung with a NEW rope”!

Please take no offense by the lack of attraction to your offering. The demand for a "double rifle" in .72 must be in the single digits of %. Even if it were a "screaming deal" at $500, only a very few individuals would have a want or need for this gun. It is a beauty and a bargain based on current retail, but the demand is very limited. Unless and until the right person comes along, this type of gun may be on the market for some time. I know, as a lefty flintlock shooter, there are times when you can nearly give something away but until the demand is there, the price is irrelevant.

I would like to kindly remind users of this forum, of the very last rule (listed in bold print) in the classified guidelines governing ads posted here. Especially those here on this sub forum "firearms for sale/trade/wanted", offering unsolicited advice, comment or criticism. The last rule item #20 specifically states: "Unless you are interested in buying the item or asking specific questions about it, comments about the offering critiquing it are not proper and will be deleted". This listing is in full compliance with all guidelines, and has now really become quite inundated with both personal messages and more importantly, public posts on this thread. Though previously appreciated, they have become both unwanted and unnecessary for the sale of my item. Opinions and advice are much like excuses, which we all know are just like @#%holes...in that everybody has at least one. The classifieds are not a chat/discussion forum, there is another sub forum on this website specifically for that purpose.

I really do truly appreciate all sincere well meaning posters offering lengthy comments and advice, and don't at all mind those merely giving a friendly thumbs up. I have thus far, replied and thanked all (whether by PM or posted here)...except the latest from "ADK Bigfoot" above (and the criticism from FishDFly). Obviously the moderators on this forum don't share your position, as I've done nothing wrong in raising my prices again on all three guns currently listed here...after realizing I had cut them far too low! ADK Bigfoot...I too am also a very left handed true flintlock aficionado (really not such a rare breed), and in fact sold such an item on this very forum on 3/21/2019 (after only listing it 6 days prior, and getting a fair price I could live with). As a further point of fact, Snoutsugar sold the very same item listed here on this forum, for "$1150 plus ship fee FIRM" after only 20 days...first listing it on 2/5/2019. This ad has now run 17 days, and this particular rifle truly has quite the following and is desired by many. I'm quite willing to wait for one with cash to find this ad...or not!

Unless you desire more details prior to purchase, or are accepting my very firm price of $1100 with shipping included anywhere in the US...please stop sending this ad needlessly back to being the top ad listed. That kind of bump is unwanted. Thank you very much to all those who understand, and for those who don't...please keep it to yourself!
