G'day all,

Just a quick one, firstly what are people's thoughts on the pedersoli mortimer shotgun and secondly, do you think it could be used as a fowler with .72 round balls for large game?

It's a 12g smoothie. Therefore, you can stuff pretty much anything you want down it and shoot it including roundballs, shot, toothpicks, meat skewers, etc.

But be sure to put fletching on the back end of the meat skewers.

Had one.
In percussion.
It was very good. But one shoots it with your head up! Get down on the stock like how folk do today and it'll shoot low.
With a .690 patched and a wad I could hunt rabbits to 50yds with mine.
