I came upon a commemorative of a Remington called a Rattlesnake, pretty gun has a blued barrel, and cylinder. The frame is in the white and the whole thing is engraved. guy wants 400 bucks for it any one know anything about this pistol/revolver?

The revolver is supposed to commemorate Frederic Remington's bronze "The Rattlesnake". The engraving was done with a laser, not by hand. If it's in nice shape, I think $400 is a fair price.

These revolvers were produced by the New England Collector's Association. They are not Pedersoli. Both Uberti and Pietta revolvers were used in their production. This association also produced a Frederic Remington "Cowboy" that was produced on an 1851 Navy made by Uberti. These guns have sold for as high as $900. Usual price is $500-$750. I assume yours is also cased.
