Thanks Cowboy. I asked because the one I put on my Invest Arms was a rough casting that took a lot of work before I could brown it. Appreciate the link, it's been awhile since I ordered from TOW.
 
how much fitting did it take?

Fitting is minimal my friend.

As you’re looking down the barrel, remove the existing adjustable sight from left to right.

To install the fixed sight, install from right to left.

I use a small brass punch and small hammer.

After fixed sight is installed. It’s range time!

Dial her in for elevation, then wind age.

Lastly, I take a small steel punch and peen the top edges of the dovetail down onto the sight. Usually a peen on the top of each outer edge and maybe one peen in the middle just for good measure?

You can always smooth out the small peen marks if you’d like but I usually don’t. I also don’t go gorilla crazy with peening the sight in place neither.

Lastly, I touch up the peened areas.
