I’m going to try this again. Selling my .62 cal Pedersoli trade musket that I built from a kit. The barrel has been jug choked by Caywood to improve shot pattern. I’ve hunted with it for a couple seasons but recently built another. The gun has been properly cared for, bore is shiny and she has good spark. Let’s try $950.00 shipped to lower 48 states.

Please forgive my ignorance as I am new at this. How does the jugged choke affect round ball shooting?
Thanks

According to the gunsmith that jug choked the barrel it will also improve round ball grouping. I haven't tested this personally because I have only used shot from this gun.

Probably a real nice gun Tom, but to be honest with you, your pictures suck!
How do expect someone who does not know you, and may be many hundreds of miles away to send you $950. plus for a firearm when all you supply are 4
poor quality pictures. I am in the market for a Fowler, but yours is not well represented in your add.
Get some better pictures up, or ask for help posting, it’s not hard to do if you have some guidance.

I'm more than happy to send as many pictures via email that you would like. In my experience picture quality is diminished quite a bit when posting on these forums. Maybe just my lack of experience selling guns and not knowing exactly what angles or specific areas of pictures need taken for a good representation. Sorry about that. FWIW, I've sold dozens of recurves and longbows worth north of a 1000.00 using the same style of pictures without a problem but again I'm sure I just don't know much about selling ML's.

Please let me know if you would like more pictures and thanks for your input.

Tom

Pictures of the bore, buttplate, length of pull, drop at the comb, drop at the heel. How long is the barrel? How long overall? Weight? All of those items would be important to a serious buyer. These are not bows, they have lots more moving parts. Do not take this the wrong way, I am not criticizing your add, I am just suggesting a few improvements.

You are always better taking pictures outside when possible. The lighting is so much better. An overcast day is the best lighting of all because there are no dark shadows, makes ideal clear photos just be sure to keep the sun behind you (over your shoulder).
