I'm kind of anxious to see some input on the subject.I'm more concerned with the difference in size + dimensions that reliability. I've never experienced any difference in "going off" department but there are many brands I've never used either.

I use to be 100% CCI, until the last 1000 I got.
They were sized wrong, tried using them on 10 different ML and they wouldn't fit well, or fire. Sent them back and after a month they said there was nothing wrong.they did refund me, promptly went and bought Remington caps ( which work as expected).

I use what I can find, beggars can't be choosers right now.

None of the CCI have ever fit the nipples correctly, they all needed to be squashed oval to fit right. Applies to 40 years ago on my CVA the same as months ago on my Traditions. Maybe they just made the nipples to take either 10 or 11 caps, but the 11 are always loose.

Always liked RWS and Winchester Magnum. They were available in Upstate NY. Now in South Carolina, CCI was available until last year.
No retailers carry BP products any longer. Powder, caps ordered from dealers and shipped in.

Oooooo... be careful, you could start a war with a question like that. I always hated Remington caps, but those were the only number 10 caps I could ever find. I use Winchester #11 magnum when I can get them, but my recent acquisition of CCI Magnums seems to be working fine. I try to stay consistent, but I have no real preference these days.

How much velocity does a cap add to the main charge? Will a magnum cause the projectile to increase in speed over a regular strength cap?

Crap Cap Incorporated has always been my go to.

The last 400 CCI Magnums I bought were, well, crap. Several in a row refused to pop.

In the process of replacing my #11 nipples with musket nipples.

My Schuetzen musket caps are 100% reliable.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to watching the zoo. No lions, tigers or bears. But plenty of Kangaroos and RINOs.

I don't believe I've ever seen or come across Winchester caps. In recent years, I rarely see any caps, but when I do, they're usually CCI or Remington.
I'm planning a road trip to TOTW sometime this winter, I'll see what they have in stock. In the distant past, they've had RWS (German) caps.
