As of now, I have two. Look n to get a third.

The Sharps is a heavy blaster. The .32 Cub (full stock Pennsylvania type) is light. 27''. I charge it with the various elongated balls, increasing its performance wildly over that of the round ball. depending upon what I m doing, I charge all my arms with a A, B or C charge. More precicely,- A r, le, me, he (round, light elongated and so on). For the Cub A is a powder charge of 16g, B 24g and C is 32.

The Sharps,- Round ball and heavy elongated (525g) Charges are,- 40, 50 and 60g FFFg. Good fun. It s sighted to, can you believe it?! 800yds! Must ve been for group targets. With a 22'' barrel , . Anyway, I can hit a 36'' target at 300yds. After that, the group wildly opens.
The round ball is good for varmint pacifying at 100yds. The .541 half oz round ball is like a plinking round compared to the buffalo ball (heavy elongated).

1- The flattened one is after hitting an iron plate target from 200yds. The other is from going through 3 2'' boards. I found it 150 yds beyond sitting on top of the snow after going into the snow, then exiting, skipping along to a stop.
2- Iron plate target, 5' in diameter, 200 yds from porch
3- Iron plate target 800yds. Y e a h . Ok.
4- Hit that can from 100yds with a C3 (60g/Buffalo ball). The can was filled with water, and there was a smaller one on top of it filled with water. The bottom can was hit and the top one went high into the air as if it was on a geyser. Fun.
5- Fired from the Cub from 50yds, went through 12 magazines. You can see the unfired ball for comparrison to the one lying next to it, greatly flattened/distorted

You have a couple of great rifles and you obviously know how to shoot them. I owned a .50 Cub for years and liked it. Thanks for sharing.

The proper charges, the loads the arms likes best, ,. Yeah. I was miffed with varying results and so on. As you can imagine, it took, and is!, taking time to determine all of this. Firing just O N E of these arms, I 'fire all day' and maybe throw 10 balls down range. Then it s recording/comparing results, adjusting action/sights, varying the powder charge, adjusting the diameter of the ball, going back out , ,. Fun!, albeit a long process. Then there s the casting more balls and so on.

AND, there s 4 different balls for each arm! Well, only two for the Sharps.

It s a g r e a t difference in performance with just a slight adjustment! It can mean more than several inches in accuracy and penetration etc.!!!

Oh! I just thought of something! I ll take a photo of my shoot reports. You ll then see the intracasies of my , , yeah, seriousness.

1- Shoot Reports abound!,- (these are just s o m e of the , , suckers!)

Your .50 cub. seems you miss it.

Yeah, I m fairly passionate. When I go out ranging, They re my only protection. So they must be at the ready. If I e v e n smell a hazardous/dangerous situation, I ll have at l e a s t several arms. One in each hand at full battery ready to carry if I m within visual of a haz/dan threat.

They r a r e l y misfire. Even the firelocks. When they were new, they would. Flint/steel timing etc. ,. They re ready.

1- Ranging packet B2 (Bravo Two for ,, It s a worthy protective pair against , , just about a n y t h i n g from Rampaging cottontails to errant Greyhound buses -anything larger than a greyhound, the Sharps works quite well- ),-
