Hello,
As you all know I'm new to the forum. I'm hoping someone can help with identifying the marks on the screw off barrel pistol. It came to me as from Belgium but the other flintlock I got from the same place was supposedly a tower pistol that ended up being a French An xiii. They came up and the guy selling had no interest so i decided to jump in feet first. I'm not looking to sell. Just looking for info from people that really know what they are talking about and know that I really appreciate the help.

Belgium black powder proof mark on it. These were cranked out by the thousands for the personal protection market before revolvers became lower priced. They have to be in excellent condition to have any collector interest.

Great thanks! I just enjoy it as it is. I guess it found its correct owner. I appreciate the help!

Edit to add. Is there a common caliber size for these? The listing said .54 but it's way smaller. Probably dyslexic and in the .45 range
