Percussion pistol paper cartridges?

Other than patch and ball, I'm curious if paper cartridges were made for single shot percussion pistols during the civil war similar to what were used for Springfield or Zouave rifles. Does any forum member make paper cartridges for their Lyman or Pedersoli pistol? If so, how is it made?

Yes, cartridges were made for single shot pistols long before the Civil War. For the 54 caliber smoothbore pistols that emerged starting with the model 1805, they used a .525 ball and the appropriate powder charge. 35 grains for the percussion guns, not sure about the flintlock ones. They looked like a miniature version of the 69 caliber smoothbore musket cartridge.
