I usually don't understand why people like to convert/upgrade guns. But I can see why you wanted to do this one. Those stripes are gorgeous and flint is as it should be. Thanks for posting the pics.

Thanks Guys for your comments. :redface: A couple things I did to the lock other than just clean it up, was to set the hammer and flint as close as possible to the flash pan using a 3/4 x 3/4 flint and lighening up the frizzen spring to create less resistence and still throw a good spark. In theory a quicker lock time :hmm:. Also not wanting an allen head or screwdriver slot in the liner, I made one similar to a white lightning liner with a 1/16th hole. Can't tell if its any faster than my other rilfes, but at least I didn't screw it up!! click on the link below and see what you think. This was the first shot..
