Looking for either a supplier or maybe a used pair that I could have my Rx put into at my local Wally World.

A used pair would be fine as that way they'll look broke-in and antiqued when I put my Rx into them. :)

Research the web, the last pair I purchased came from a dealer in N.Y. it has been years since then sorry I do not remember the site, very good quality frames. Also check out your local antique dealers I have 2 pairs of solid silver sliders that my wife bought, one pair has my rx the other has poly carbonate lenses that I carry in my kit for shooting (safety glasses) The other suggestion is once you purchase a pair I would go to a good eye doctor and have the lenses put in them. Do not be surprised that you may have to sign a release if the frames become broken during the process the optometrist is not responsible.

not sure on the date, but I have these originals with original case

There is a lot of information on the 'net about the history of eyeglasses. I have two pair that have been in the family for many generations. One pair the lenses are blue. It was thought colored lenses could cure diseases. Look up blue. :rolleyes:

There's a co. in south NJ, I think Hammonton, NJ, that sells period re-enactor frames.
Try googling Period Eyewear? I'm sure something will come up;
