This is one of the longest rifles I've seen. It is in the Lehigh Valley or Bucks County style and has a 47" swamped barrel. Based on research, it was built by Phil Cravener and someone named Smith. The nicely figured Maple stock has some nice incise and relief carving. It appears that someone experimented with the idea of enhancing the relief carving, but thought better of it. Needs a little stain to touch up. Unmarked lock sparks well. LOP is 14.5". Bore is excellent and has a 1:66 twist. Barrel mics .990 at breech, .774 in middle and .872 at muzzle. I'm 5'6" and this long rifle is easy to balance. Rifle weighs about 8.5 lbs. Really nice rifle by well known builder. $2000 + Shipping.
