So i took my dog for a walk and took my rifle with me and took some nice pics of it with the foothills and a mountain in the background, They came out nicely. All this was taken in the " back yard" Theres also a pic of my soon to be hunting area once i clear out brush and trim trees and rototill the soil and bring up horse manure and plant a small chicory/alfalfa field. You can see my small feeder and possibly my water bucket. No tracks yet but they'll come when i least expect it.

Is that a CVA Kentucky kit gun? You did a beautiful job. How did you shape the stock next to the nose cap? I've got one and I couldn't figure out what to do there.

No its a traditions kentucky i bought in febuary as a complete ready made rifle. I just wasnt happy with the original stain and sharpe curves that it originally had. So i took it down the bare wood and knocked down and rounded the lock area, nose cap area and rounded everything off. After the stock was done i took all the bluing off the barrel and lock and then rubbed a couple coats of bleach to give it a goldish/gray color. Worked out perfectly and im now happy with it.

Very nice rifle,,I have a rifle with a bleached barrel and like how it looks

I like that bleached look. I'm going to hafta give that a try some time. You sure live in a nice area. :)

Great pictures and wonderful backgrounds. That rifle looks like a Vetran of the mountain.

A Muzzleloader only looks correct when the picture is taken outside with Natural backgrounds.
Here is a picture that I absolutley love of my Full Stock Hawken 50 Cal.
