Nice. How does that screw behind the trigger work? Lift and lower the trigger blade? Bill

Bill,
Not for certain. I have to find some time to take her down and do some looking. I have been looking for an original owners manual, but have yet to find one. I plan on spending some time taking her down tonight....Been busy with the shop and gunshows this weekend...

Yeup. Single set trigger. Push it forward and she's set. Breaks real light, maybe 3-3 1/2 pounds. Very sweet....

Well, I was partially right, just didn't connect it with a set trigger. I never know those came with a single set trigger.

I remember when those came out about 1979, they were the cats meow, or advertized as such. Never have seen one in person, but that one looks nice. good styling. Tell us how it shoots. Bill

Im curious to know more about that trigger. I use a double set, and had no idea there was such a thing as a single set. I love my double set!

I passed up one on an auction site about a month ago for the same money, but it looked like somebody dragged it behind his truck. I really like the lines of this gun, and the finish is nice. I had a chance to shoot one years ago in New Hampshire and the single set trigger worked great.

I agree Mike. That ram's horn really sets it of. It is one of the things that drew me to these rifles. That and the very high quality of them. Now if all production rifles were built like these!!!! They are heavier than a CVA Mountain Rifle, but leaps and bounds ahead of them in Quality.
